Scott congratulates new leader of Welsh Liberal Democrats

Tavish Scott, leader of the Liberal Democrats in Scotland has congratulated Kirsty Williams for her victory in the Welsh Liberal Democrats' leadership election.

Commenting, Mr Scott said:

"I congratulate Kirsty on her impressive victory.

"I look forward to working with her, particularly on the future of devolution. She and I have a shared agenda to strengthen our respective parliaments as part of the UK.

"I am confident that the Clegg, Williams and Scott team will bring these arguments to bear over the coming months."
